International days are highlighted on postal stamps, this time International Day for Women and Girls in Science has been chosen to showcase. The women representing the three new stamp sheets are widely known geniuses in their field. Katherine Johnson who helped NASA make great strides, Mary Anning who discovered fossils, and Marie Curie who discovered radiation are the three amazing women chosen for these new stamps. Using the womens’ signatures as the only text is how we wanted to draw focus to the design. Each design has a path sweeping down to the left, whether it be clouds, liquid, or bones. The three designs have many layers and use drop shadows to give it a bit of depth.
